BRUSH KNEE 2 PERSON SET – WHAT IF DETAILS

BRUSH KNEE 2 PERSON SET – WHAT IF DETAILS

These are just some examples of how to deal with someone who is trying to oppress you with their strength or if they cross their center line or if they attack you with the intent of holding open your centerline . Firstly , it is very important that your fingertips touch your partner before the Standing Palm is formed. If you form the palm early , then your posture will lose it’s Ward Off Energy and it will collapse and cause you to use strength or make a change in order to retain balance and control . When the finger tips lead , the wrist can curve slightly and act as a Ward Off against an outside to inside force. You may notice Jason losing his footing while trying to apply this type of force . If jason attacks my parrying side lung , i can change to a smaller circle and using a Hook Hand , i can follow his force outward and destabilize his structure. If Jason crosses his own centerline , i can follow him and trap him with my Ward Off posture while shielding myself from his elbow with my Embracing Palm. In the last example, Jason destabilizes himself by overreacting to my Warding Palm creating an opportunity for me to strike to the head/neck . i have done other videos regarding this set as it is a very important exercise and should be trained regularly regardless of skill level.
