Exploring center – More examples of Posture testing

The following footage shows me giving further examples of posture testing. These examples or for the shoulders and the upper spine. When you are aware of postural defect within yourself you will soon see it in others. The ramifications of all of the defects should be studied. Understanding how the joints work as well as how they don’t work will guide you towards entering into someone’s Posture. This is the application of the principle “know yourself to know others and in 10,000 battles you will be victorious”. Learning to move within the functional range of motion of your various joints will keep you stable and strong. When the joints are properly positioned then the surrounding musculature can begin to adjust and release. Some musculature needs to be stretched while other musculature needs to be strengthened and shortened until balance is achieved. When the musculature does not need to be engaged then forces are easily neutralized internally. When the body is torqued in one way or another internally , additional forces in the form of a push or strike will add to the existing Potential Forces creating an inbalancing reaction. This is a result of the tissue not being homogenous in softness.
