” let something sink” – BP Chan

My outer structure is defective
I cannot oppose my opponent using muscle when my posture is defective

” let something sink” – BP Chan

The following example has me intentionally defecting my external structure by bending over backwards and allowing Aaron to capture me in a defective position. If I try to muscle my way up into a vertical position, then the activation of my tendons will allow his force to control my whole body and will cause me to struggle and use a lot of effort and strength to try to get into a state of comfort and power. BP Chan never like to use the word Chi Because it was too mystical. Instead he would say “let somethings sink ” . When I let something sink to my feet , that ” Something” gets under my opponent’s body creating a leverage advantage. It also compresses, and may be released at Will with training. these are some of the benefits of internal training and the fact that nothing external is moving on my body to repulse my opponent is indicative of this quality’s presence.
