Remaining calm and capturing circles with Tai Chi Chuan versus grappling 1

Grappling

This footage is the result Of Suehiko Ono requesting to test different martial methods against Tai Chi Chuan . I agreed if we could also film these things. The following exploration is myself explaining how I would respond To a possible take down. Most people will naturally sprawl which is accepting going to the ground. Most people will also meet muscle with muscle engaging their opponents in a test of strength. What is important here is to remain calm and keep my head upright with my body suspended from above. It is also important to not engage strength with strength but to follow my opponents attempted advances and Press him into the ground with a downward sinking force in opposition of the Crown point raising. If he is actually successful in lifting my leg then I will simply turn the arc into a circle rotating around my center axis and spooling him out of center so that I may compress him into the ground again. This footage was filmed in 2003 when I was thinner and without white hair .
