Joe Regotti - Teacher, friend, student

Joe Regotti came into my life through the request of his wife. I was teaching Taijiquan and Dao Yin/Qigong at a health club. She stayed to talk to me after class one evening to inform me that her husband was diagnosed with brain cancer. I informed her that I believed that these arts could help him. I also informed her that if she brought him to my home early Sunday mornings, I would teach him for free. She brought him to my home and I taught him for free for 14 years. Later on, I found out that he was diagnosed with 2 to 3 months to live and 0% chance of survival. I never charged him because I wanted him to know that my faith was as strong as his and that I as commited to his healing . He is responsible for changing the direction of my life away from the Martial and toward the Healing. He brought other people to me with other illnesses on a regular basis. This challenged me on many levels, and I continued to help these people for free . Anyone who did the exercises got positive results and healed and extended their lives. His daughter Maria put this little group of photos together in memory of him, and in honor of him. I consider him to be one of my teachers because of our relationship and how his life positively affected my life and I continue to this day performing rituals where I make fruit and flower offerings, as well as burn incense in his honor. He came to visit me at work with his daughter years after his initial diagnosis. He had purchased her a little purple iPod that matched her purple corduroys and purple sweater. It was a father and daughter day, and I felt a peace wash over me as I know that I helped him extend his life and he and his daughter to experience this moment together. I felt in this moment that I had succeeded in my life. and I share this video because his life sacrifice ended up, saving mine in the process. He was an extraordinary man, and I was blessed with the opportunity to help him… Not realizing at the time that he was actually the one helping me.🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
