Santi Shi – Overcoming some difficulties in transitioning into posture

This is a brief description of some of the difficulties one might in counter getting into the posture Santi Shi. A common thread that runs through all of the teachings of BP Chan is that when moving from Posture to Posture, one moves from center to center in a structurally organized fashion. A Posture is like a castle. Transitions are like the roads to those castles. Transitions in martial arts or in life are treacherous and one must be extremely mindful about how they move through these. Moving from center to center is much like crossing a river by stepping on the stones. If you try to skip a stone you are likely to end up in the water .
