When one joint is out of center, all of the joints are out of center.

This is another little clip of BP Chan teaching in his unique style at the Tai Chi farm. Mr. Chan points out to Richard Brooks that when his wrist is “out of center “ it creates a chain reaction through his body. It makes the body “S” shaped or zigzag. When one center is out in one direction another center must counterbalance that direction creating a zigzag in the body and an unstable structure. It is simply uncomfortable and not properly connected. He also comments on how both hands support each other and a father and son role

I always said Master Chan was the guy that could move a pinky and change the world.

My Students know the devil is in the details. The smallest ones count the most.
Thanks Jim

Agreed! Mr. Chan was the only teacher that I met in the early days teaching details as well as gong fa . When I realize the Pedegree of what he was teaching I made up my mind to learn every single thing I could from him. We are blessed to have had the opportunity to stand in his shadow
