Good afternoon. I'd like to talk a few moments about something near and dear to my heart that I've been working on and has been in existence in a kind of hushed way for over a year now. And it's a course on me teaching the various gong fa that I learned relative to the arts that I learned and the basic elements of what's involved in training to develop the skills that I have. Just to be clear, I'm not keeping anything from anyone. I'm showing exactly what I do. I don't do something different when no one's looking. I don't do more of it than what I talk about doing.
So I'm basically trying to leave something as if I would leave to my children or to my martial brothers and sisters and students and future generations so that they can learn these details that I don't see other people talking about in other courses and that I've used to help people with a myriad of diseases over the years. And in the process developed skills. So, but what's very important is Ben Lowe made a T-shirt that said, if you know, then why not you do.
And essentially when people are in the process of looking for a secret, they tend to look for like a secret, like someone's going to tell me one thing that's going to transform everything I do. But it's not one thing. It's the integration of knowledge into your actual daily movements. So to train these, I always put all those, those elements into the eight pieces of brocade set, which is both a health set as well as something to help train the vessel for accumulation and cultivation of chi.
But also gets into basic body mechanics of how to bring your hands up and down, forward and back, left and right, for example, and how to how to dredge the meridians in your body at higher levels. So all of these things are taught in different levels. And, you know, after about the first six months that all the elements that are involved in, in your basic movement theory and mechanisms of power are shared.
And then I start going into the various arts, like the various other gunfo, like the eight chi gong, the ten daoist, the muscle tendon change, the ligament set, the reverse breathing set, the spine set, the laying down sets, the seated sets, the body massage, self-massage, different self-massage methods. And then to the various arts like Xing Yi Quan, Yi Quan, Tai Chi Quan, Tai Chi Ruler, Madame Golan's anti-cancer set.
I basically gave up everything else in my life to keep these arts alive because I saw that when I would study with various teachers, the details that I got from Mr. Chan were miles ahead of what I learned from other teachers. So the purpose of this course is to integrate all of this knowledge into a half hour set that you can train every day, at least once, and develop these skills. Now if you're greedy for skills, you can do it twice a day.
You can do it three times a day. And ultimately you're going to learn how to make power in every direction, how to integrate the body with the intention and with the spirit in such a way that you become powerful in every movement that you do. And then when you're doing any other movement, whether you're doing Xing Yi, Baguazhang, Pakua, or Yi Quan, or Xing Yi Quan, all these things, or the weapons, these all become something that's part of your natural integration.
And then every move you do has substance and power. So I hope you take this opportunity to support this effort by engaging in this course and looking at it and really testing it because the people who have are coming back to me astonished. And the people that look at it like, yeah, I already know that, really probably don't know that. So this is again, like I said, left as if I were to leave it to my son with that kind of open heartedness.
And I hope you take advantage of this opportunity. Thank you for your time.
